To my mom
For teaching me
The stories of Jesus.
And how He is always there for me.
And that He loves me
No matter what.

For her willingness
To have 5 kids
Because it gave me strength
When I had my 5 kids.

I will always be grateful
For her amazing laugh.
I love to make her laugh
Because it’s so big
And it fills my heart.

I will always be grateful
For her example of strength
And endurance
And how to make it through
Difficult things.

I will always be grateful
For her example of love.
And her fierce devotion
To her family.

I will always be grateful
That she gave me an amazing dad
And amazing siblings.

I will always be grateful
Because there is no limit
To the depth of her soul.
She feels things
So deeply
And compassionately
And empathetically.

I will always be grateful
For her example
Of generosity
Especially when
No one is looking.

I will always be grateful
For her heartfelt prayers
On behalf of my kids
And myself.

I will always be grateful
Because even though
She didn’t give me
Her green eyes
Or blonde hair
She gave me
An amazing life
Because she’s an amazing mom
And person
And friend.
And I’ll aways be grateful
For her.
